The latest project that is being planned at IPMO is the Sus Scrofa (Wild Boars of South Kurdistan) Project to examine how the species of Wild Boars has interacted with the inhabitants of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (also called Soth Kurdistan with East Kurdistan being in Iran, North Kurdistan in Turkey and West Kurdistan in Syria) since the beginning of civilization and until the present day.
IPM has reached agreement in principle with the Millennium Hotels Group to start running Yoga Classes at the Grand Millennium Hotel, Sulaimani with trials planned to start in December 2018. Depending on the public’s response to the trials IPMO plans to run seasonal Yoga events during the Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter at the Grand Millennium Hotel starting in 2019.
Since it was granted its NGO certificate in June 2014, IPMO has continued to evolve to keep up with the issues of regional and national importance. In 2017 IPMO adopted the “Empowerment of Woman through Project Management” as a new goal. During 2018 IPMO launched new projects aimed specifically at women such as the “Master’s Scholarships Worldwide” and the “Mesopotamia Yoga” projects.
